With ‘Vikings: Valhalla’ Reaching Its End, Fans Lose Their Minds Over the First Look of Final Season
Vikings may have stolen hearts when it came out back in 2013 and the same can also be said for Vikings: Valhalla. Even though both series focus on the lore of Vikings, they follow rather different storylines. The latter’s storyline is set more than 100 years after the Michael Hirst original. However, both series gained massive fan followings after they made their way to the screens.
When Vikings: Valhalla came out last year, everyone was confused about whether it was a sequel to the blockbuster series, Vikings. But over a year later, fans have realized that though the series may reference some characters from the original show, these Vikings were there to build something of their own. However, after just two seasons and the third one in the making, Netflix surprised fans with the revelation that this would be the last season.

But at least it would give fans one last look at their favorites. Some fans were taken aback because the series would be ending only 2 years after it began. But there were others who did not care as much as they believed that the show was mid.
Just like every update about any popular series, this update was also met with mixed reactions from various social media users. But there was one common consensus. It was that the Vikings: Valhalla fans were looking forward to the final season with Leif Erikson, Harald Hardrada, and the Norman King.
