Not tired of breaking its own records, the recently licensed show has taken another Netflix original, Wednesday down. Owing to the massive resurgence Suits writer Aaron Korsh weighs in on the Meghan Markle impact. 

As its popularity exploded after coming to Netflix, there is no doubt Aaron Korsh has gotten his entire family to watch the masterpiece. As his preteen daughters get hinged on the show, Korsh revealed the reason why the show is at the pinnacle of its lifespan, revealed Variety. Amidst the various theories that stand true, Korsh revealed that social media platforms like TikTok have really given it a boost. Speaking of Markle, everyone knows the buzz around the Californian Duchess, he suggested. 

Thus agreeing to the same, Korsh added, “There is no doubt that there’s some curiosity about Meghan Markle”. Generalizing the characters, he further explained how people find a mirror image in their fixated favorites. “People either see themselves in someone and/or who they wish they were,” he claimed.

Moreover, the American streamer knows just how to take a decade-old show and amplify it by a billion. 

Suits takes over Netflix blockbuster Wednesday after coming at par with Strangers Things

According to Nielsen charts, the Meghan Markle and Patrick J. Adams-led show has been consecutively breaking its own records. It has thus become the second most-watched show ever on the American Streamer for a time period of six consecutive months. This record was previously held by Wednesday that held a viewership record of 20.3 billion minutes viewed. 

Surpassing the same Suits has now come closer to checking out a massive accomplishment held by Netflix’s only chartbuster Stranger Things. The sci-fi thriller is the only Netflix original to boast a total of 27.8 billion minutes of views watched over a period of consecutive six months. Currently, there are four major hits racing for the top. 

Along with the above-mentioned, Jason Bateman directed a crime-drenched masterpiece, Ozark, is also on the list with a total record of 19.95 billion minutes viewed for over a month.
