The Water Tribe, Earth Kingdom, Fire Nation, and Air Nomads are about to premiere on Netflix’s Avatar: The Last Airbender live-action on 22nd February. The OTT mogul is taking another dig at their collection of live-action adaptations with Albert Kim as showrunner after the success of One Piece and anime enthusiasts could not be more thrilled. Those who are counting down the days to its release are about to receive a treat tomorrow as well.

Earlier today, the X (previously Twitter) page of Netflix disclosed that the series will receive its first trailer tomorrow. Some months prior, the streaming giant had unveiled its first look and a teaser. However, the official trailer was still awaited. To the delight of fans, the clip will arrive soon now, giving a proper peek at the kind of production they can expect from the project. The series is going to stay true to the events of the original Nickelodeon show. Only some tweaks were made for dramatization. So, those who were fans of the old show will certainly find elements to love in Netflix’s rendition. However, since Bryan Konietzko and Michael Dante DiMartino, who made the original abandoned the Netflix production, some have been wary of how it will pan out.

With little time left for the first season of the series to drop, fans are understandably keen to set eyes on it and judge for themselves. Meanwhile, their anticipation of the trailer arriving tomorrow is palpable.

Twitterati welcomes Netflix’s Avatar: The Last Airbender with open arms

In the past, anime lovers have questioned Netflix’s decision to create another live-action version of Avatar after the 2010 flick that did the same and received harsh feedback. However, the first look and teasers of the plot have reinstated many fans’ faith that the production giant might just pull this attempt off. The news of the short wait till the launch of its first season’s eight episodes was met with jubilation from the majority of X users.

One user hoped that the CGI would be “epic“. Another was delighted by the poster itself.

Overall, the resounding emotion of viewers is that they simply cannot wait!
