One Piece writer, Matt Owens revealed in a Reddit AMA, his favorite Easter eggs from the show’s first season. After saying that they were “such a fun part” to come up with, he revealed that his favorite was “the bounty posters that fill the world.” While fans of the series caught most of the clues, Owens said that not all the easter eggs made it to the show yet.
The writer also told the fans to “be on the lookout for more next season!” The posters also play a huge role in One Piece and are taken to be a power-ranking system. At the end of the first season, fans get to see this clearly when Luffy gets one of his own. With teasers throughout the season, it is no wonder that fans are already extremely excited for the show’s second season.
While Matt Owens may have gotten caught up in his love for Easter eggs, the writer had originally joined the AMA to talk to fans about One Piece Season 2.

With the WGA strike recently ended, the One Piece writing team is back at work for their next season.
After the confirmation of Season 2 came, it was followed up with a major casting update. While there is no confirmation of when the series will be released, that has not stopped fans from hyping up the next season.
