Ever since Netflix&#8217;s One Piece made its way to the streaming platform, it has dominated the global top 10. With the adventures and the bond between the Straw Hat Crew, the live adaptation stole hearts. Although fans were not too excited when they initially heard about the adaptation, their opinions changed rather quickly after the teaser dropped. Now, over a month after the series was added to the Netflix library, it has broken many records.
However, it has given fans a little more to look forward to about the series&#8217; future. In fact, a writer from the show even shared his favorite Easter eggs from season 1.

One Piece writer, <a href="https://www.reddit.com/r/television/comments/170tpsx/yo_im_matt_owens_coshowrunner_writer_and/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Matt Owens revealed in a Reddit AMA</a>, his favorite Easter eggs from the show&#8217;s first season. After saying that they were &#8220;such a fun part&#8221; to come up with, he revealed that his favorite was &#8220;the bounty posters that fill the world.&#8221; While fans of the series caught most of the clues, Owens said that not all the easter eggs made it to the show yet.

At the end of the first season, fans get to see this clearly when Luffy gets one of his own. With teasers throughout the season, it is no wonder that fans are already extremely excited for the show&#8217;s second season.

While Matt Owens may have gotten caught up in his love for Easter eggs, the writer had originally joined the AMA to talk to fans about One Piece Season 2.
<h2>How One Piece&#8217;s success made the team feel</h2>
During the AMA, Owens was asked how he felt about the success of the show. He immediately responded by saying, &#8220;It&#8217;s a huge fu**ing relief&#8221; but it ensured that the whole team would have to put in their best efforts to make the next season an even bigger success. With the WGA strike recently ended, the One Piece writing team is back at work for their next season.
