For fans of Stranger Things, preparing to bid a final farewell to the Hawkins squad is undeniably bittersweet. Thus, curiosity is naturally at its peak. Especially, with the creators planning an expansive final season, the release format has also come under scrutiny. Although neither the creators nor the cast have confirmed whether the season will be split into two parts, its lengthy episodes suggest this might be a possibility.
In a July interview with Podcrushed, Maya Hawke, who plays Robin Buckley, hinted that filming the eight-episode season is almost equivalent to filming eight movies because of the lengthy episodes. She also acknowledged the delays the season has faced, expressing support for the dedicated writers who are committed to maintaining high-quality storytelling.
