Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have become of the most-talked-about royal couples because of their Netflix documentary Harry & Meghan. Though no official release date has been announced for the television series, rumors suggest that it will air on December 08. Earlier this week, the American streaming platform increased the hype for the show by unveiling the first teaser.

As per Netflix, the show will explore the relationship between Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. Meanwhile, the standout part will be the interviews with friends and family members to discuss the couple and the circumstances that resulted in the Sussexes’ departure from the royal family. With Netflix promising commentary by the family members, the royal fans are confused about whether any senior firm member will be making an appearance in Harry & Meghan.

Harry & Meghan might have a guest appearance by Doria Ragland

Before the release of the Netflix trailer, royal commentator Richard Eden had confirmed that there will be no special appearances from any member of the royal family. As per the correspondent, the House of Windsor is strictly against giving any footage to the television show. Eden revealed that this is the same reason that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle kept a low profile during Queen Elizabeth II’s Platinum Jubilee celebration.

The couple was in the United Kingdom for the occasion with their children, Archie and Lilibet. However, there were no photographs featuring the Queen or any senior member with the Sussexes’ children. Elaborating on the reason, Richard Eden revealed that Her Majesty did not want to give content to Netflix. 

“We certainly won’t be seeing moments with other members of the royal family. From what I understand, they made absolutely clear they wanted to have absolutely nothing to do with this program,” the royal editor as per the Express. 

Since no senior royal has given any interview for the docuseries, Netflix might be talking about Meghan Markle’s mother Doria Ragland. She has been a constant supporter of the Duchess since the beginning of her marriage to Prince Harry. Meanwhile, Eden revealed the show can have statements from the Duchess’ celebrity friends like Serena Williams, David Foster, and Priyanka Chopra.
