Not to mention, the fantasy genre opens immense possibilities for storytellers and Netflix can make a franchise out of this plotline. When Enola Holmes first arrived, it was unclear if there would be more movies, but its success led to the franchise.

Just like that, Damsel can tie into an ongoing genre trend and make more movies on the young brave woman who stood alone against the world. However, these things can only move forward when the film arrives in 2024 and receives positive reviews. Enola Holmes 3 ready to bring back Millie Bobby Brown into the spy genre

The head of the Netflix film, Scott Stuber, confirmed the development of Enola Holmes 3. The second film left the character with plenty of stories to explore. After confessing her love to Tewkesbury and growing close to the older sibling Sherlock Holmes, her adventures in London have just started. The next installment will bring more new characters, including Dr. John Watson played by Himesh Patel.

Apart from this, Stuber also expressed his admiration for their “homegrown star” Millie Bobby Brown, who has worked hard all these years. According to him, the Holmes IP was “weirdly elastic” and they would love to create more stories with this young and talented superstar.
