Nearly half a decade has passed without a Queen Rihanna performance, and we are all starving at this point. And Super Bowl definitely did all of us a favor by roping in Rihanna to perform. Super Bowl 2023 halftime show bringing in Rihanna to perform is truly iconic. But that is not it because according to reports, she will be joined by another artist as well. And if the reports of Kanye West joining her are true, fans will die of anticipation.

The show will take place on the 12th of February in Arizona. It has been five years since the pop queen released any new music or performed her old hits. Basically, a very long sabbatical from the music industry has to end now. In the meantime, the This Is What You Came For singer has built a makeup empire that has been commercially and critically successful. And now with her comeback, she may collaborate with Kanye West once more.

The 2022 Super Bowl halftime show had a dream lineup with Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Eminem, Mary J Blige, and Kendrick Lamar. It brought in more than 120 million viewers and also received the Emmy Awards for Outstanding Variety Special (Live).

So the upcoming Super Bowl performance has big shoes to fit. And bringing Rihanna and Kanye West is definitely the way to do it. Both the stars have built a cult-like following, not just for their music but also for their personality and fashion. Even since it was announced by Jay-Z, the founder of Roc Nation and sponsor of the Super Bowl halftime show since 2020, that Rihanna will be taking the stage, there has been plenty of speculation. And adding the cherry on top was Kanye West posting a screenshot of a DailyMail article that hinted at him joining the performance.

In a typical Kanye West fashion did not provide any caption or explanation for the temporary post. The two of them were label mates at Def Jam and switched to Roc Nation. West and Rihanna have earlier collaborated on chart-topping songs such as B***h Better Have My Money, All Of The Lights, and FourFiveSeconds. This will be RiRi’s first performance after giving birth to her son. So far, apart from the fact that Rihanna is performing is all just speculation. But seeing the duo perform together is definitely a musical dream come true.
