It has been a long time since we last streamed Another Life, and we have been waiting for season 3 to drop on Netflix. The science fiction drama follows Astronaut Niko Breckinridge, who leads a bunch of astronauts on a mission to find intelligent life in the universe. During their space mission, the astronauts face danger from alien lives, which can lead to a one-way trip for them. Season 1 premiered way back on July 25, 2019, starring Katee Sackhoff, Selma Blair, Justin Chatwin, Samuel Anderson, Elizabeth Ludlow, Blu Hunt, A.J. Rivera, Alexander Eling, Alex Ozerov, Jake Abel, JayR Tinaco, Lina Renna, Jessica Camacho, Barbara Williams.

Will there be Another Life Season 3 on Netflix?

In December 2021, a tweet went viral, which captioned as, “Let’s have Netflix run the next pandemic. They don’t let anything get three seasons.” In the tweet, our lead, Katee Sackhoff, commented, giving the fans of Another Life a slight hint about the show’s future.

After Season 2, the show failed to appear in the list of Netflix US’s TV top 10s. Finally, on February 21st, 2022, Netflix officially canceled the show. Even Kate Sackhoff tweeted, “I’d like to thank everyone single person who watched & supported Another Life on @netflix To our crew & cast thanks you for always working so hard & being prepared. I wish we could do more seasons, but sadly it’s just not in the cards 🚀 See you on the next adventure ❤️ Love Niko.”

What happened in season 2?

After season 2 released, the show opens the door to new possibilities. As Earth is in danger by the Achaians, it became hard to defeat them. Achaians is a mysterious alien race, with high artificial intelligence. However, the astronauts from the earth find their weakness and plant a human DNA-based computer virus. They forced the Achaians to leave the solar system forever.

Alas, there will be no season 3. However, the show about the invasion of aliens on Earth will remain close to our hearts. Fan can continue streaming the show’s first two seasons on Netflix.
