Ryan Reynolds, in the true sense, has it all. The actor is not only successful in his career but in his personal life as well. But making a marriage work, especially as an A-list actor is no easy task. Juggling between personal life and a busy work schedule has often led to the dissolution of many Hollywood couples. But Ryan and his wife remain an ideal couple to look up to in this fast-paced industry.
The Deadpool actor is married to the MET-gala queen and Blake Lively since 2012. The love birds met on the sets of Green Lantern, and although the movie tanked, their love only grew. The two have three children together. The couple is still at their career peak with projects demanding them to be in different parts of the world. But it was revealed that the growing family does not take movies at the same time.
How Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively take turns
Power couple Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds never fall short of the limelight and roles. They have their own family of five with three beautiful daughters together, namely James (7), Inez (5), and Betty (2). But the couple prioritizes family time over his career.
According to sources, The Wrexham Club co-owner and Gossip Girl actress actively reject movies if it requires them to work apart. “Blake and I don’t do movies at the same time. We operate as a unit,” says Ryan. According to him, it works well for them. Because if one of them is in Thailand and the other is in Vancouver, it does not make sense.
The 42-year-old added thinks that home is wherever all of them are together, whether it is Spain, Utah, or New York. After all, a family that eats together stays together, even if being with kids all the time drives him crazy. “When I am on a plane with my kids, at some point I get up and ask the flight attendants if I can leave the aircraft,” jokes Ryan Reynolds.
But the family man loves every bit of it. The actor even wished to take a sabbatical leave from his movie career to spend more time with his family. Netflix’s The Black Adam hero is such a good father that Blake has a fourth one in the oven. How exciting is that?
