So for Arnold Schwarzenegger and Maria Shriver to form a bond was a political Romeo and Juliet. However, the two worked their differences aside in order to help people.

Before she became the first lady of California, Maria Shriver was at the top of her game in journalism. Furthermore, Shiver hosted the NBC Nightly News for a while. And then went on to cover politics on NBC Dateline.

She even received a Peabody award for her coverage of the 1998 Summer Olympics. So it does not come as a shock when Political analysts say that she was one of the main reasons behind Arnold Schwarzenneger even making it to the Sacramento office.
