Who was Warhol?
Andrew Warhola Jr. was born on August 6th, 1928. Andy is one of the most influential figures in the visual art movement called Pop Art.

His art is a blend of the celebrity culture that was at its peak in the 1960s, artistic expression, and advertising. His work of art includes painting, photography, and experimental films that are now cult classics.

In June of 1968, Andy was shot by Valerie Solanas inside his studio. His wounds from the bullet led to gallbladder surgery complication that sadly was the reason for his demise in 1987.

The Andy Warhol Diaries started streaming on Netflix on March 9th. The series includes clippings and videos that Andy himself started documenting after the attempt on his life in 1968.
