Netflix’s Stranger Things has given fans four memorable seasons till now. Though every single one had something unique, viewers think Season 2 was flawless. They believe so because it took fans to emotionally deeper places than its predecessor did. Stranger Things has 34 episodes in total which are individually rated depending on their likeness. And the latest user rating on IMDb tells Season 2 is not the best season. Instead, Season 4 took the crown of best-rated episodes of the horror drama. The penultimate season came out last year and has been called the most staggering among all the seasons. Considering it did not hold back in any way, whether it’s gore, suffering, or prominence of death.

The impression that season left on the minds of viewers is now visible on the aggregate website. Season 4 Episode 7 titled The Massacre at Hawkins Lab has taken the first spot on the list. Following this comes immensely praised episode 4, Dear Billy, which went down in cinematic history the moment it came out.
The powerful performance of Sadie Sink and Vecna’s mind play totally blew fans away when her character escaped him. Also, Eleven peeping into her past was something unexpected and truly horrifying. With all these captivating moments combined, one certainly cannot deny Season 4 was the most thrilling season.

The unparalleled success of Season 4 is a strong indicator that differs it from the rest. This season broke the viewership records of Seasons 1 and 2 in its opening weekend itself. In addition to this comes the depth and maturity of the young cast members whose talent left the audience mesmerized. Not to mention, the epic visual effects and prosthetic makeup that the creators used to make things look authentic also won hearts.
Season 4 can be considered the season which truly dwelled on the psychological horror that this show was meant to present in the first place. And now fans are waiting for the fifth and final season that will put all their painful experiences to rest when Eleven kills Vecna for once and all.
