Rick and Morty is amongst the most popular animated sitcoms in the world. It airs on the official channel of Adult Swim before its online release.

Rick and Morty Season 5 comprises a total of 10 episodes which premiered on June 20, 2021. Initially airing every Sunday, the sci-fi comedy left fans bewildered after the 8 episode dropped on August 8, 2021. The TV show, without notice, skipped Sundays until it was finally revealed that the last two episodes would drop as a two-part finale of the season. The 9th and 10th episodes were released on September 5, 2021.

Where to watch Rick and Morty Season 5?

So far, the fifth season is only available on Adult Swim’s official website and app in select countries. However, some episodes of Rick and Morty are available to stream for free, and others require a valid cable provider login.

Season 4’s finale aired on May 31, 2020, and the complete season premiered on Hulu on November 1, 2020. Hence, given the timelines, we can expect Season 5’s premiere on Hulu and HBO Max in early 2022, somewhere around January or February.

On May 10, 2018, Adult Swim announced a 70-episode renewal of Rick and Morty as part of a long-term deal with the show’s creators, Dan Harmon and Justin Roiland. Season 6 is undoubtedly in the pipeline. The timeline of release, however, is yet to be known.
