Christmas is the time of the year for a celebration, to take a break from everything, to cheat on your diet, and have a get-together with your family. All celebs get in the holding spirit every year and share moments of their holidays with their fans. Some like to keep the celebration low-key, while others like to go a bit overboard. Turns out Will Smith and his family fall in the latter category. The actor once revealed that his family goes a little crazy over the holidays.

The Smiths are very serious about Christmas, especially Jada Pinkett-Smith. Since the family spends days and months apart from each other throughout the year, they make it a point to have some family time during Christmas. While that is well and good, Will Smith revealed to ET in 2017, that his wife goes all in on with the celebrations. The publication caught up with the star at the premiere of this film, Bright. “For the last probably 20 years, Jada has been bat raving loony about Christmas,” he disclosed. 

However, 20 years later, Smith noticed a change in his son, Jaden. Previously, they all ganged up against Pinkett-Smith to maintain the family’s sanity. But Smith was worried that his song was flipping over to his mother’s side. He was yearning for Christmas just as much as his mother. “He’s got pajamas with footies for Christmas — like, he’s taking it too serious,” he added.

Well, the bond between the actor and his family has remained strong throughout the years, especially his bond with his youngest son. Jaden Smith continued to support his dad despite the backlash he was facing due to his Oscars Slapgate through his fashion choices.
