When ‘Rick and Morty’ Attracted Back to the Future Star Christopher Lloyd to the Show, the Series’ Primary Inspiration
Fans love Rick and Morty for a variety of reasons. To some, the show is the perfect blend of comedy and exciting stories, while to others, it is just hilarious. But no one can deny that we all love the show because it somehow reminds us of the Back to The Future series. And if you feel so too, you are absolutely right. Rick and Morty is a parody of sorts of the 1980s hit classic time traveling trilogy, especially the character of Rick, who is directly inspired by the movies Doc Brown.
So how cool it would be if Christopher Lloyd, who plays Doc Brown in the film, appears in the show. Apparently, the actor himself wants to make a cameo in the show. Let us see what the 83-year-old actor had to say.

Christopher Lloyd wishes to appear on Rick and Morty
Lloyd, better known as Doc Brown from Back to the Future, told the Phoenix New Times in an interview that he enjoys Rick and Morty and would want to be on the show. Of course, this is a terrific concept. Lloyd informed the Phoenix New Times that he has seen a few episodes of the series and enjoys what he has seen so far.
“I’ve seen a few episodes, and I gotta tell you, I think it’s a lot of fun,” Lloyd said. “I know it’s some kind of parody of Doc and Marty.” The actor then went on to agree with the idea of appearing as Rick’s father in the show, saying, “Yeah, yeah. That’d be fun.”

Even though Lloyd is yet to make his animated debut in Rick and Morty, he has already played the sociopathic scientist. In a tv promo for season five’s finale last year, Lloyd paled Rick along with Jaeden Martel’s Morty. It was a pure promotional stunt, but it did give the fans to see Christopher Lloyd as Rick.
