There are only a handful of celebrities that can proudly boast about how much they are loved globally. And one of those few is the Deadpool actor Ryan Reynolds, who is undoubtedly one of the funniest and most amazing humans ever. However, it is only the country of Canada that can call itself Ryan’s origin. But is that really so? Or is Ryan secretly of Nordic descent? Well, if you had a question exactly like ours, then you have come to the right place.
Back in 2019, ahead of the release of Ryan’s movie 6 Underground. He and his entire team happen to crash at Netflix Nordic’s YouTube channel. And just like every other team and celebrity that ends up there, Ryan and his team were also tested for Nordic descent. And honestly, the results are rather surprising.
Ryan Reynolds and his cast members text if they are Nordic
The first sign of a Nordic is owning a pair of ice skates. Surprisingly, Ryan Reynolds, Manuel Garcia-Rulfo, and Adria Arjona all of them own a pair. However, Ben Hardy sadly is the only one without ice skates. Next up, they had to choose between Celine Dion and ABBA, and literally, every single one of them failed this test as they chose the former.
Now, we all know that the Nordic people are known for being polite and well-mannered. Hence, to see if someone is Nordic, you have to see if they are willing to break a queue. Luckily, Ryan and Ben both declared that they would never do that. However, Adria blatantly said that she does it all the time (not very Nordic of you, Ms. Arjona). It almost feels as if, The Adam Project took lessons from fellow MCU actor Chris Hemsworth, who himself is a Norse God.
And of course, to be living in a region as cold as Nordic, you definitely need the warmth of coffee, which Ben and Ryan drink plenty of. There were other hilarious questions involving Ikea furniture, shoes, and of course, the punctuality of the celebrities in question. You should definitely check it out on your own.

Surprisingly, even though none of the actors belongs to the Nordic region, they collectively resulted being 12% Nordic! Maybe they should work together on Netflix‘s Vikings: Valhalla Season 2?
