When Meghan Markle Gave a Sneak Peek Into Her Wardrobe for ‘Suits’
The US legal drama Suits is a thing of the past for Meghan Markle. Before landing on one of the most successful shows, the Duchess did small roles in films like Remember Me, Get Him to the Greek, The Candidate, and Horrible Bosses. However, it was only Suits that helped the California-born earn worldwide recognition. Portraying Rachel Zane on the screen, Markle established herself as a successful actor.
She featured in the seven seasons of the series from 2011 to 2018. Although Meghan did not form a part of the last two seasons of the legal drama, the viewers still adore her, especially her fashion sense on Suits. Catering to love for her clothing as Rachel Zane, the actress once shared her wardrobe for the show.

Meghan Markle once reflected on the styling of Rachel Zane
Markle’s video from February 2016 has gone viral. In the video for Hello, the former actress can be seen giving the viewers a glimpse of the wardrobe of Rachel Zane. Speaking about her on-screen fashion sense, the Duchess revealed that her character is particular about her dresses and thus, they have retained a lot of outfits from season one as well. Markle also added a touch of reality and relatability to her character by doing a mix and match of skirts and shirts.
“We have had a lot of the same pieces in season one, which is pretty fun as Rachel’s wardrobe is specific. In that, I mix and match separates as a real woman would. You’ll see a world of pencil skirts,” Meghan said in the video.
The segment was filmed at a time when Meghan had to select her wedding dress for an upcoming sequence. Thus, her close friend Jessica Mulroney was there on the set to help her with the outfit selection. The actress described all the wedding gowns that were present in the room from various designer stores.

Notably, Rachel married Mike Ross (Patrick J. Adams) at the end of season seven. For the ceremony, Meghan Markle opted for an A-line gown with a deep V-neck and floral beadings. The dress was made by an Atlanta-based designer, Anne Barge.
Soon after the reel wedding, Markle tied the knot with Prince Harry and lived the life of a working royal for two years before stepping down in 2020, following the birth of her firstborn in 2019. Today, the Duke is working on his memoir, his Duchess has her Spotify podcast, and the couple are working on a Netflix documentary.
