For instance, the Pete Davidson and Taylor Swift hate campaigns. However, the Grammy-winning artist has decided to switch things up a bit. The rapper who is infamous for dragging down other artists once complimented someone. Lil Baby AKA the rapper who won the Artist of the Year at Apple Music awards in 2020 had once become the subject of Ye’s adoration.

Kanye West and his obsession with Lil Baby

Early this year, Kanye West shows that he is a huge fan of Lil Baby with his social media posts. Very similar to his breakdowns this year, Ye had a similar downward spiral back in 2020 while he was married to Kim Kardashian. The No Child Left Behind rapper liked going on social media at ungodly hours and writing anything and everything that came to his mind.

During one such escapade, Kanye West declared his love for Harder Than Ever rapper, Lil Baby in the same post that he wrote ‘Kris Jong-Un’. Meanwhile, Lil Baby has been raising a cult-like fan following ever since the release of his mixtape Perfect Timing in 2017.

Anyone who has listened to the mixtape became rightfully obsessed with the rapper. And Kanye West, despite the kerfuffle that he likes to get himself in, is but a passionate musician. Therefore, he wanted to collaborate with Lil Baby.

The rapper wrote, “Lil Baby my favorite rapper but won’t do a song wit me.” Eventually, Lil Baby ended up featuring on a Grammy-winning Kanye West song titled Hurricane. However, Ye’s admiration towards Lil Baby did not just stop at his musical talents.

The No Child Left Behind singer posted a picture of Lil Baby wearing a simple black outfit. And captioned the photos ‘Love this fit @libaby‘. Furthermore, Lil Baby wore the outfit at a Balenciaga fashion show and looks like it definitely caught West’s eyes.
