The wait is finally over. Ozark, Season 4, Part 1 is finally coming on Netflix. Fans can get charged up for the new season as Netflix also released a little teaser on their official YouTube channel. It featured the announcement of the last and final season’s official date. Jason Bateman claimed, “A super-sized season means super-sized problems for the Byrdes, I’m excited to end with a bang.”
Chris Mundy has stated to Variety, “We’re so happy Netflix recognized the importance of giving ‘Ozark’ more time to end the Byrdes’ saga right. It’s been such a great adventure for all of us — both on screen and off — so we’re thrilled to get the chance to bring it home in the most fulfilling way possible.”
All you need to know about Netflix’s Ozark: Season 4
Ozark’s very first look at the new season was released on Netflix’s Global Fan Event on 25th September. Over there, they even confirmed the new season would arrive in 2022. There will be fourteen episodes in the last season of Ozark, and the fourteen episodes will be divided into two parts. Each part will have seven episodes.
Ozark: Season 4, part 1 will release on Netflix on January 21, 2022. There is no official announcement on part 2 still now.
Jason Bateman stated to Collider that the whole production from writing to the final edit takes at least 12 months to complete, “II think the fastest we can turn around a full season, from starting the writers room to having Netflix push it out (because then Netflix also has to dub all the episodes and all the different territory languages so it can go out on the same day), is basically 12 months. There’s just no way to do it any quicker. Yeah, I think we do incur some rush costs to get it done in 12 months. But it really is more like a 14-month thing.”
