When Is DON’T LOOK UP Coming to Netflix? – Release Date and Trailer Breakdown
A comet is approaching Earth, and the “stars” will save the world. But you “Don’t Look Up.” It is going to be a gaudy end of the year with this Christmas gift by Netflix. Amusingly, the adventurous film mostly is actually a comedy as announced. The streaming platform recently posted the official teaser trailer of the weighty film.
The official trailer of this star-studded film promises war against a gigantic asteroid coming to destroy the planet. After Red Notice, Don’t Look Up is another testimony to the amount of money Netflix is investing in its originals and in purchasing big-budget projects.

Netflix acquired Adam McKay’s excitably anticipated comedy Don’t Look Up in February 2020. McKay, the writer-director of this film, received eight Academy Award nominations for his most recent feature, VICE. He has also directed The Big Short, Step Brothers, and Anchorman.
As per Netflix’s official press release, McKay said, “I’m so thrilled to make this movie with Jen Lawrence. She’s what folks in the 17th century used to call “a dynamite act”. And the fact that Netflix sees this movie as a worldwide comedy sets the bar high for me and my team in an exciting and motivating way.”
Teaser Trailer of Don’t Look Up
The teaser trailer primarily features Jennifer Lawrence and Leonardo DiCaprio as a grad student-professor duo trying to warn mankind of the impending catastrophe. The low-level astronomers must go on a media tour to gain attention in a social media world with a dwindling attention span.
The video begins with Leo breathing heavily and repeating, “You’re here now.” A fan jokingly commented, “If Leo DiCaprio is stressed out and panicking in a movie, you know it’s gonna be good. He needed to do the Matthew McConaughey breathing technique at the beginning to calm down.”
