Everything Everywhere All at Once just missed getting into the finals of a category. Oscars have a rather tough competition this year. The 2023 Academy Awards is one of the most prestigious awards a film can get, with both American and international categories included. Although the country has a mix of global cultures.

While most categories are yet to come out, a few of the nominations are out already. The Dan Kwan and Daniel Scheinert directorial is an action-adventure movie with no shortage of action-packed scenes and mind-bending visuals. While the flick barely missed the chance of a potential Oscar, fans have had a rather mixed reaction to the news.

The internet is divided after Everything Everywhere All at Once gets snubbed in THIS category

While Everything Everywhere All at Once has made it to the list of Sound and Music, it got snubbed out of the Visual Effects category. Competitors in the final list were All Quiet on the Western Front, The Batman, Nope, and Thirteen Lives, etc. The movie sees Michelle Yeoh in the lead. The veteran actress is best known for her movies like Crazy Rich Asians, Avatar: The Way of Water, Tomorrow Never Dies, etc. While her acting got her a lot of credit, fans on Twitter are split over whether the movie deserved an Oscar for Best Visual Effects.

While loyal fans are aghast at the supposed snub, many viewers of the film have pointed out the “bad” VFX in Everything Everywhere All At Once.

The unique sci-fi aspect along with an inclusive cast is what makes the movie unique.

Despite the wonderful effects, some fans do not think that it was Oscar-worthy. Although some also say that the movie’s editing was better than the effects. It is to be seen if the movie manages to bag an award in any other category.
