What Sent Ryan Gosling Into Hysterical Laughter With Harrison Ford During ‘Blade Runner 2049’ Promotions?
Ryan Gosling may use being an Academy Award-winning actor as his official identification, but did you know he was also the cutest clown of all time? While promoting Blade Runner 2049, Ryan Gosling channeled his comedy legend energy in front of THE Harrison Ford. You know, the actor who was deemed a grouch by most of Hollywood? Yes, that Harrison Ford. And contrary to popular belief, Ford did not walk out of the interview or punch Gosling as he does in the movie.

But instead, he showed the world his infectiously witty personality. Despite being award-winning top-notch actors, Ryan Gosling and Harrison Ford played a strong assisting cast in this priceless interview where the British TV star, Alison Hammond, was the main character.
Why could Ryan Gosling and Harrison Ford not stop laughing at their 2017 interview?
The interview headed by Hammond on The Morning started off with her giving the Blade Runner 2049 actors glasses that were from the original Blade Runner. And naturally, Gosling asked if the interviewer was a fan of the original to which she deadpanned “Never seen it.” Now, this first round of laughter set the tone of the entire interview with Alison Hammond, with Gosling even complimenting her “candidness.”
However, it was the way in which Hammond introduced the science fiction flick that had Ford and Gosling doubling into laughter. “Bleek, dystopian, an absolute nightmare to be honest with you…. and that’s just my interviewing techniques.” The dark humor did not stop there.
All the while, Ryan Gosling was too preoccupied with laughing in order to breathe. Not one minute into the interview, we see the La La Land star pouring himself a drink. That’s just how candid and unhinged this interview was.

The veteran actor responded with “So what?” only to later correct himself with a more profound and eloquent “SHOW ME THE MONEY” response.

The interview also progressed to Ryan Gosling helping out with the cameras. He also rephrased the iconic saying by Marcel Proust “Don’t meet your heroes” with a “Don’t get punched by them.” Watching an interview that did not make the actors awkward by crossing personal boundaries but also brought their fun side out felt like a breath of fresh air. And looking at how Gosling and Ford were gasping for air after their uncontrollable fits of laughter, they seem to have gotten plenty of fresh air too. We owe it all to the crowned Queen of British TV, Alison Hammond.
