It is about time to move over the Spotify Wrapped frenzy, because an unofficial Netflix Wrapped is here to give users a peek into their yearly recap of binge-watching TV shows and movies. Netflix Wrapped is a personalized recap of viewing activity- covering movies, TV shows, and many other content. It compiles data into easy-to-understand statistics, including the total hours, the average daily hours, and the top five movies and shows based on viewing time, among other insights. However, it was not created by Netflix, nor is it available on the official app. This tool was created by Kapwing, a video editing company that has been offering Netflix Wrapped for a few years now.

In order to use the tool and get started, all one needs to do is download their viewing data from the Netflix website, upload it to the Kapwing Netflix Wrapped portal, and let the magic unfold. The results are personalized and come with a unique URL that can even be shared with friends, just like how Spotify Wrapped works. Even Netflix has embraced the year-end spirit with the official list of its most-watched shows.

Netflix's 2024 first-half streaming records show something surprising

In September, Netflix noticed something interesting in its viewership trends with British shows. Ted Sarandos, co-CEO of Netflix, mentioned at the Royal Television Society conference that Fool Me Once, Baby Reindeer, Bridgerton, and The Gentleman grabbed the top four spots on the most-viewed list, with a combined total of 360 million views.

Fool Me Once took the lead among the four with 108 million views. Baby Reindeer, which won six Emmys, followed closely with 88 million. Bridgerton came in the third spot at 92 million, and last but not least, The Gentleman pulled in 76 million. Clearly, there has been a British invasion on the streaming platform- but whether that trend will show up in everyone’s Netflix Wrapped is something to keep an eye on.
