Merlina or Wednesday Addams is the protagonist of the upcoming Netflix series Wednesday (Merlina in Spanish), a supernatural kid. Her parents admit her to Nevermore Academy so she can be with kids like her. Born with a gothic personality, she loves life a little more dangerous and filled with horror.
The trailer shows she finds it entertaining to punish people or startle them. Moreover, her looks in the series are quite convincing with pigtails, dark hair, and pale skin. She is the queen of darkness as she is seen wearing a black dress with a white collar and has a hobby of raising spiders.
All these things make her feel more like a dark wizard, not unlike Henry Creel of Stranger Things, who also had the same interests. Meanwhile, her companion, the disembodied hand, adds a spark to her character in the show.
