What is ‘Archewell’ Productions and how does it connect to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle?

In an attempt to rebrand themselves, and leave the Royal title behind, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry launched Archewell Inc. It is the umbrella under which the former Royal couple follows and will continue to follow their current and upcoming adventures. The brand name combines Archie, their baby’s name, and the Greek word ‘arche’, meaning “source of action.

Archewell is a name that combines an ancient word for strength and action, and another that evokes the deep resources we each must draw upon,” said the couple in an interview with Telegraph.

Archewell Inc. has 3 subsections: It started first as a nonprofit previously known as SussexRoyal. Then, the company expanded into Archewell Productions, which exclusively takes care of their Netflix Deal, and Archewell Audio, which administers the Spotify venture. Markle’s Spotify Podcast, Archetypes, which premiered on August 23 has four episodes out so far.
