Based on real-life events, The Watcher follows the life of a couple who buys 657 Boulevard in Westfield, New Jersey. As the show’s first look revealed, this house is a hot deal that could attract buyers’ interest when Karen glamorously sells the features of this furnished house. The same house made headlines in New York Magazine’s The Cut.

According to The Cut report, Derek and Maria bought a new home at 657 Boulevard in 2014 and moved into it. However, soon they started getting creepy letters from a mysterious stalker who said he was keeping eyes on their lives. Subsequently, the couple had to sell the six-bedroom house and leave their beloved city.

Moreover, the house was built in 1921 and has been modified with many vintage things still preserved. The trailer shows that the house might not be a bugger problem than the sneaky and weird neighborhood.
