Though the choice of the series's name is odd, it is very elemental to the core theme of the show. 11.22.63 revolves around the late US President John F. Kennedy’s assassination. However, it shares a unique take when the leading character, James Franco, travels back in time in an attempt to prevent this unfortunate happening. But sad news for Netflix subscribers, as they cannot enjoy this gripping tale there.
The miniseries, which consists of 8 episodes, is a Hulu original and was released nine years ago in 2016. It is exclusively available to watch there. Those who do not have a Hulu subscription can certainly enjoy it on Amazon Prime, which shares a very interesting synopsis of the series.

The series stars James Franco as Jake Epping/James Amberson, a divorced English teacher from Maine who is tasked with the important task of preventing the assassination as he travels back in time to 1960. Along with him, Chris Cooper stars as Al Templeton, Sarah Gadon as Sadie Dunhill, and Luca Fry as Marina Oswald. Recurring and guest stars on the show include Cherry Jones, Josh Duhamel, Nick Searcy, and many others.

With its talented star cast and intriguing storyline, the series bodes well critically, too. While Vulture billed it as an “intoxicating show,” UPROXX said that James Franco shines in the series. And it also has an 83% rating on Rotten Tomatoes, labeling its action as a “well-performed series of events.” It is also highly acclaimed among the fans, who, as per IMDb reviews, did not want it to end. With all these amazing reviews, 11.22.63 sure is worth a watch on Hulu.
