The book exposed the haunting past of the duke dwelling on the incidents that took place behind royal gates. This daring call of action gives commoners an insight into his complicated relationships with family and marriage to the American actress.

Well, it might seem to many that the royal couple had a fairytale marriage after a short courtship. But the truth can only be known in the hearts of the people who experienced it. There has been a rumor going on for years that Prince William never appreciated his brother dating a woman out of the royal world. Putting all those speculations to rest his book now reveals what happened when he first introduced Markle to the Duke of Cornwall.

Prince William wasn’t much supportive of Prince Harry dating Meghan Markle 

As reported by US Weekly, the book by Prince Harry depicts the first interaction of Meghan Markle with his royal family. In the memoir, the Duke of Sussex wrote that the heir-apparent discouraged his courtship with the Suits alum. And when the former actress visited the family for the first time, Prince William freaked out. Since Markle wasn’t much aware of the royal courtesy at that time and she hugged him.

“He recoiled. Willy didn’t hug many strangers. Whereas Meg hugged most strangers,” claimed the Invictus Games cofounder. He also recalled how his elder brother did not want him to get into a serious relationship with the now-duchess, taking into consideration her acting profession.

“One day, sitting together in his garden, he’d predicted a host of difficulties I could expect if I hooked up with an ‘American actress,’” wrote Harry. However, Queen Elizabeth, who died in September 2022, was much impressed at the first meeting. He said that the late royal highness looked pleased meeting this lovely woman of thoughts and individual mind.
