We have seen talents from around the world make it big in Hollywood. Arnold Schwarzenegger and Ryan Gosling are two of them. In his 70s now, Schwarzenegger is known for his built and action hero flicks through the decades. Some of his hits include TerminatorPredator, and Collateral Damage amongst others.

On the other hand, Ryan Gosling is more of a charmer known for his romantic and thriller movies like Notebook, Stay, and La La Land, etc. Both stars are beloved and have a mass fan following. The two stars were born outside America. Gosling was born in Canada, and Schwarzenegger in Austria, though he holds dual citizenship in America.

What do Arnold Schwarzenegger and Ryan Gosling have in common?

Other than being Non-Americans, Arnold Schwarzenegger and Ryan Gosling share one more similarity. As per reports, they were both casts as Hercules once. A 22-year-old Schwarzenegger was cast in the movie Hercules in New York (1969) with credits name Arnold Strong, Mr. Universe. It was his first feature role.

In the movie, a young Hercules is granted his wish to travel to earth, by his father Zeus. Upon landing in New York, the muscular man gets fame in modeling, but not without making any enemies first. Meanwhile, Gosling played a young Hercules in the Fox television show Young Hercules. It ran between 1998-1999, with only one season of 50 episodes.

It followed the character’s story while getting trained in Chiron’s Academy. The role was one of the actor’s earliest gigs. Other than these two, there are several actors who brought Hercules alive on the screen including Kevin Sorbo, Lou Ferrigno, and Dwayne Johnson.

Though Schwarzenegger remains one of the best to portray the heroic character. Hercules is part of Greek mythology, and although not a God, he is known for his physical and long-ranging adventures.
