“We really depend on each other” – Sadie Sink Weighs on Her Bond With Millie Bobby Brown and How They Help Each Other in the Industry
Sadie Sink was a complete unknown before she landed the role of Max Mayfield in Stranger Things. She was deemed too old for the role, yet she begged the producers for the part. And the gamble paid off. She quickly became a part of the Hawkins gang with her entry in season 2. Her friendship with Millie Bobby Brown on screen did not start on the right foot, however, off-screen the two were inseparable.
The Whale star recently spoke about the close bond they share.

Sadie Sink on her “unique” friendship with co-star Millie Bobby Brown
The All Too Well actress was lucky enough to find another girl to bond with when she entered the Stranger Things universe. Millie Bobby Brown and Sadie Sink were all of similar ages which allowed them to quickly get along with each other and talk about issues affecting them. Having been thrust into the spotlight at such a young age, the two girls depended on each other to navigate fame.
“We really depend on each other when things get absolutely nuts, or when you need to talk to someone who understands exactly what you’re going through. We have each other,” she said. Further, the redhead admitted that they would have been “lost without each other.”

She feels extremely grateful for the unique connection she shares with her fellow co-star. Their friendship is evident from the behind-the-scenes clip of the show where they are both seen goofing around on set. Both will return to reprise their role again in the Duffer brothers’ show for the fifth and final season. But presently they are focusing on works outside the Hawkins universe. Sadie just recently starred alongside Branden Fraser in the critically acclaimed The Whale.

While there were rumors that she was joining the MCU, she recently dispelled the rumors. And Brown just returned to the screen with the Enola Holmes sequel.
