Ryan Reynolds and Jake Gyllenhaal may have worked on a serious movie together, but they cannot hide their funny side. The duo’s photo, along with Hugh Jackman, still makes rounds on the internet. Remember the Christmas picture of Ryan Reynolds dressed in a rather funny sweater with a bow, with Hugh Jackman and Jake Gyllenhaal laughing at him?

That basically gives an idea of Gyllenhaal and Reynolds’ chemistry both on and off the screen. It is evident from the interview that they gave for their 2017 movie Life, directed by Morbius director Daniel Espinosa. The throwback interview is nothing but a laughter fest.

How Ryan Reynolds and Jake Gyllenhaal could not hold their laughter during an interview

No matter the time or place, Ryan Reynolds has proved that he can be absolutely hilarious, no matter where he is. The actor starred alongside Jake Gyllenhaal in their thriller space movie Life back in 2017. They both then sat down for the interview about the movie but shared laughter with the interviewer Kevin McCarthy for Fox 5’s before cameras began rolling.

He handed the Life stars a couple of pins. But as McCarthy began asking questions, Gyllenhaal was distracted by the pins, as he accessorized himself by using it as an earring in the midst of the interview.

As he controlled back his laughter, he suggested that Reynolds put his pin on the nose. The Deadpool actor promptly followed and, and they burst out in laughter as he hilariously failed trying to clip his nose. They eventually gave up and began answering questions about the movie. Talking about one-take long shots, Ryan Reynolds referred to them as ‘big owners’.

Life is a sci-fi horror movie wherein a crew finds life on Mars. But the more they research, the more they discover that the extraterrestrials may not be as friendly or safe. Regardless, the duo cannot keep from being their humorous self when together. They have not worked on any projects together ever since.
