Billie Eilish is a singer, an Oscar, and seven times Grammy winner. But when she is not on tour singing her heart out, she is at home watching everyone’s favorite sitcom, which contrary to popular belief, is not F.R.I.E.N.D.S but The Office. The Bad Guy singer has countless times expressed her love for the Steve Carell sitcom. Not too long ago, Eilish had the chance to be a guest at the Office Ladies podcast hosted by none other than Angela Kinsey and Jenna Fischer, more popularly known as Angela Martin and Pam Beesly of The Office.
‘No Billy I haven’t done that dace since my wife died’ was from the office?😭
I thought it was some inside joke between Billie Eilish and her fam🤦🏾♂️.

And you could only imagine how excited Billie Eilish was to be on the show. Furthermore, the singer spoke about the significance that the sitcom holds in her life not only now but also when she was just a teenager. Eilish says “most of the things I know are because of The Office.” Therefore, when Kinsley and Fischer asked the 21-year-old if she would want to recreate a scene with them, the experience was nothing short of exorbitantly thrilling.
Billie Eilish turns into Phyllis from The Office
At the Office Ladies podcast, the singer had the prerogative to enact the iconic “first ever party planning committee” from Season 1 of the show. And Eilish, who in her own words “started (The Office) at 12,” to no one’s surprise, knew the scene by heart. “Oh yeah, I know this scene quite well,” the Billboard 100 chart topper chimed in. The OG cast of the show alongside Eilish starts recreating the scene for them to reach the evergreen wise words of Angela Martin, “I think green is kind of whorish” when Pam Beesly suggests green streamers.
The trio breaks character as soon as they hear the line to laugh it out. And it all ends with Jenna Fischer telling Billie Eilish aka Phyllis, “You’re officially in the PPC.”
Billie Eilish may have had her time on BBC with the head-turning interview where she said “I feel powerful when I feel masculine” but it was on the podcast with the original cast of her favorite sitcom, that she let out the most powerful chuckles. Furthermore, the singer just turned twenty-one last month, and despite not releasing any new music in the past year, she was a contender for the best artist of 2022.
