As reported by Glamour, in an outfit appreciation article, rumors of a royal engagement prior to Markle’s in 2018 were already in the air. “Rumours of an imminent royal engagement….have reached an all-time fever,” read the article published in 2013. The name read Cressida Bonas, who was Harry’s girlfriend before he met his current beloved wife, Meghan Markle, in 2016. 

Cressida hails from Winchester, situated in the United Kingdom, and is a notable English star and model by profession. She became increasingly famous between 2012-2014 for her well-established relationship with the Prince of the Palace. The article also mentioned that Bonas was best friends with Eugene, The Royal Princess. In fact, it was through her that both of them crossed paths with each other. 

There have been various speculations about their split up. Some were under the notion that it was the career goal that took a toll ,whereas others think it was the result of excessive media scrutiny. Nevertheless, both of them are happily married today to their respective spouses. In fact, Cressida also attended the royal wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle in 2018. This had created quite a buzz among the public back in the day. 

As of now, Cressida is married to longtime boyfriend Harry Wentworth-Stanley. The couple tied the knot during the pandemic in a private, cozy marriage.
