Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are being criticized for their hypocritical behavior towards the House of Windsor. It was in March 2020 that the Sussexes announced their decision to move to California after stepping down as working royals. Subsequently, they slammed their subjects back in the United Kingdom for racism and not treating them properly. 

Harry and Meghan have also been critical of the royal rules and regulations. Though they have maintained their distance from the House of Windsor for the past two years, it is reported that the Duke and Duchess are disappointed with their treatment in Britain during Queen’s state funeral and services. The complaints by the former working royals did not sit well with royal expert Hilary Fordwich.

Harry and Meghan invite criticism for wanting the privileges

Queen’s state funeral saw Harry and Meghan being stripped of the respect of being King Charles III‘s younger son and daughter-in-law. They were asked to sit in the corner of the second row at the funeral. Prince William and his family, along with other senior royals, occupied the first place. Meanwhile, the Duke of Sussex was also denied permission for wearing his military uniform in Queen’s service. 

However, King allowed Harry to wear his Blue and Royal uniform during the vigil before the funeral. Moreover, it is learned that The Sussex couple is not happy with the King’s decision of not giving their children Archie and Lilibet the titles of His Royal Highness and Her Royal Highness. 

Speaking about the entire fiasco, royal expert Hilary Fordwich has slammed Harry and Meghan for being hypocrites. The expert believes that the couple should not be granted any privileges, as they have stepped down from their duties. She called out the Duke and Duchess for wanting royal protection and access to the events but not working. 

“Prince Harry has a penchant for ‘wanting his cake and eating it too. They wanted all the freedom and the perks. And that’s not the job. So it’s now more of a mess than ever,” Fordwich told Fox.
