This session was aired live on TV before an audience of 18 million people that wreaked havoc in the United Kingdom. While many stormed Twitter with severe backlashes at the long-standing Palace, royal authors and experts made Meghan’s life a bit too hard. The continuous war has still not come to an end. 

However, Meghan and Prince Harry were determined to remain quite tight-lipped about the same. Every statement that they delivered in the conversation brought the two to the eye of a critique cyclone. Finally breaking the silence Meghan talked about the aftermath of the interview on Variety the other day. 

Meghan Markle breaks the wall of silence on the repercussions of the Oprah interview

When the host asked Markle about the days that followed the rather infamous Oprah interview, Meghan had a strikingly surprising reaction to the same. While we thought it to be a never-ending series of criticism and backlashes, Meghan’s people treated her kindly enough.

Even though she felt pretty much uncomfortable being out for the first time after the interview happened, she received a warm welcome from her friends. This was evident when she says, “walking into a room alone is never easy for me”. However, soon after her friend, Pamela Adlon came up to her and greeted her with open arms before everyone else.

Meghan also added that Pamela toured her through the entire room with “more generosity and love at every turn”. The Duchess could not stop being grateful to all the wonderful women who ensured that she feels welcomed. Appreciating Glo’s support towards her Meghan felt immensely obliged to their “testament of Kindness and love.” She concluded her reply with a legit saying. It went, “The power of sisterhood and female support can never be underestimated”.
