December brought with it two historic moments. One- Lionel Messi’s grand win at the unforgettable FIFA World cup, and Two- the long-awaited Netflix docuseries of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex. And just when Meghan Markle was describing the adversities she has gone through as a woman of color, and later on a woman of color and a part of the British royal family, columnist Jeremy Clarkson added fire to the fuel, perhaps, as many are saying, having lost his mind.

For those who are living under a rock, Clarkson wrote a “vile” and “grotesque” column for the tabloid, The Sun, describing his hatred for the former American actress, and later on breaking all the ISPA records. And while the Imperial royal remains tight-lipped in view of everything that is going on, female media personalities decided to take a sly jibe at the “abuser” as well as another person of his breed, the tabloid mogul, Piers Morgan.

Although the hatred for Meghan Markle “on a cellular level” was replaced by a lily-livered apology by the columnist after receiving widespread condemnation; the ghost of bold accusations and damnation would not leave him anytime soon. After Twitterites, Clarkson now suffers vilification from media spokespersons. They believe that he just proved Meghan’s allegations to the media and the royal family about harassment right. The panelists further assert that it was such harassment that led the Duchess of Sussex to have suicidal thoughts.

“You are exactly proving her point right (directed towards Clarkson). And it is dripping with misogyny and racism.” They then call out the editors who allowed this to go out and even drew the infamous Queen Camellia parallel saying Meghan Markle was not the one “who enslaved their ancestors.”

Another one on the table asked the accused what hurt him so much that he had to put this way about somebody he has never met. Notably, they close their discussion by asking if the Royal family will ever hold the responsibility for and be answerable for this.
