The Lovely singer has had her share of struggles as she made her way to the top. When Eilish started making the headlines for her songs, the singer had a tough time. Trolls all over the internet started body shaming Eilish for her photos and videos. However, Eilish has always been very vocal about her body issues. And we all can take a page from Eilish’s book.
What can we learn from Billie Eilish getting body shamed online?
As we all know, the path to success is never easy. Every successful individual has to go through a lot of hate and struggles along the way. Likewise, Billie Eilish is no exception. The Happier Than Ever artist had to go through a tough time with people brutally body-shaming her online. However, there is a lot we can learn from Eilish’s body shaming.
1) Celebrities are humans at the end of the day
Many times, fans tend to forget that celebrities are humans too. They have unrealistic expectations of their favorite celebrities. However, we all should know that beyond all glamour and fame, celebrities are normal people who hurt too. Likewise, Eilish also does not deserve the hate and criticism for her body.
2) Social Media as much boon as bane
Everybody loves to be popular and known on social media. However, they tend to forget that the internet can make or break a person. Even though Eilish has fans who support and love her, there are a few who brutally troll her and try to bring her down.
Billie Eilish is beautiful! PLEASE, do not body shame her, or anyone for that matter. Body shaming is not “news” or “gossip” it’s HARMFUL and UNACCEPTABLE.

3) Body Shaming is not cool
Body shaming is one of the worst things to still exist. It is never okay to troll an individual for the body they have. Sadly, celebrities have to live with it because they are constantly in the limelight. However, it’s high time people realize that making fun of or harassing people for the bodies they have is unacceptable.
All in all, Eilish has come a long way and still has a long way to go. And apart from smashing records, Eilish is not afraid to smash the public’s perception of her either. Moreover, the Lovely singer has shut down all the trolls and set an example for body image positivity.
