Prince Harry did not hesitate in stating that the Royal family was more protective of his brother. On the other hand, Meghan Markle revealed that Prince William and Kate Middleton were “formal” behind closed doors.

It is clear that the two of them have picked their weapon of choice. However, things were not always like this. Before Meghan Markle came into the picture, Prince Harry was close to his sister-in-law. In fact, giving Harry a Christmas kit that said “growing your own girlfriend” was one of the rare moments Kate Middleton was seen cracking a joke.

There have been numerous pictures of Prince Harry and Kate Middleton laughing out loud. However, given the “formal” treatment that his wife had to receive from them, it is clear that his relationship with Kate Middleton is not good anymore. Royal fans on Twitter, thus, dissect the bond between the two, wondering if the Duke and Princess of Wales were always at odds.

Fans are of the opinion that Harry cared for Middleton more than Prince William, and Princess of Wales may have hidden feelings for the Duke.

Fans of the couple have also contrasted Prince William and Kate Middleton’s “formal” behavior to the open-arm welcome that Harry gave them. The younger Prince made sure that the new addition to the family felt at ease, if pictures are anything to go by. Considering how the couple will not be joining the royal family for Christmas dinner, it is safe to say that reconciliation is not coming any time soon.
