Meanwhile, in Harry & Meghan, the Duke and Duchess expressed their disappointment with their first home. The couple did not look satisfied as they criticized the small space and low ceilings in the Nottingham Cottage. Describing her first royal home, Markle said that people were of the opinion that they were living in a Palace. However, this was not the case as they were given a cottage in the Palace.
She further narrated that the Duke often hit his head on the ceilings. The couple also shared how Oprah Winfrey once visited their home and looked shocked at the size of the place. Prince Harry was allotted the Nottingham Cottage in 2013 and the former American actress made it her home in 2017 following their engagement. It was in 2019 that they moved into Frogmore Castle, which is still their home in the United Kingdom.
