Amidst all the salt and smoke of an abundance of shows being canceled, there is finally a shower of happiness for the fans of a beloved Netflix sketch comedy series. It is time to rejoice in happiness as I Think You Should Leave with Tim Robinson is renewed for season 3 by the streaming giant. Here is everything you need to know about the series. And why fans are so excited about its third season?
What is Tim Robinson’s “I Think You Should Leave” all about?
Co-created by SNL alum and Detroiters star Robinson and SNL producer Zach Kanin, the series is all about making fun of everyday life’s mundane things. It has some of the weirdest and most bizarre takes on regular things. Robinson and Zanin serve as writers for the show, where each of the episodes has an average runtime of 16 to 18 minutes.
The Lonely Island, a company by Andy Samberg, Akiva Schaffer, and Jorma Taccone produces the series; along with Daniel Powell’s Irony Point. Additionally, it has also had a great number of talented guests who have added to the brilliance of the series. The list of guest stars includes Samberg, Vanessa Bayer, Kate Berlant, Julia Butters, Will Forte, Patti Harrison, and Paul Walter Hauser. Tim Heidecker, Conner O’Malley, Bob Odenkirk, Sam Richardson, Cecily Strong, Brandon Wardell, Fred Willard, and Steven Yeun have also appeared on the show.
Sam Richardson, who is a cast member on the show, told Variety that the team started writing the season in March only. “I’m not sure when they’ll start filming,” said Richardson. “But there are funny sketches coming already, I can tell you that much.” Fans are, of course, happy about this announcement. And they did not shy away at all from showing their excitement.
