The series exceeded all expectations with its release on Netflix and now has
fans praying for an early season three release. While we wait and wonder what
Season 3 of The Witcher has in store for us apart from the dashing Henry Cavill,
intriguing plot, and fight sequences, here are the Top 5 best moments from The
Witcher Season 2 on Netflix [https://www.netflix.com/title/80189685].

TOP 5 MOMENTS OF THE WITCHER SEASON 2

5. GERALT OF RIVIA VS LESHY ESKEL

One of the most emotional and exciting scenes from The Witcher Season 2 was
definitely when the Geralt had to wield his sword to plunge Leshy Eskel’s heart.

[data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAAAAACH5BAEKAAEALAAAAAABAAEAAAICTAEAOw==]

Given the nature of his job, the Geralt mostly likes to keep to himself. And his
encounter with friend turned-monster Eskel was one of the most heartbreaking
scenes of Season 2. The Geralt of Rivia trying his best to not kill Leshy Eskel
is one of his rarest moments of vulnerability. The scene gets an easy slide into
the top 5 best The Witcher Season 2 moments.

4. YENNEFER AND JASKIER REUNINON

There is no doubt that Yennefer is among the top favorite character of The
Witcher. The fact that she was such a force not to reckon with despite not
having her magical powers in this season shows why fans love her.

[data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAAAAACH5BAEKAAEALAAAAAABAAEAAAICTAEAOw==]

Her banter with Jaskier is one of the most enjoyable and light-hearted aspects
of the series. And the heartwarming hug after the two of them saw each other
after nearly eons is no doubt one of the best moments of The Witcher Season 2.
The lines “I always knew you were a blood-sucking joyless hugger,” sum up
Yennefer’s character. The scene is only topped by her rescuing him by spitting
in Rience’s face and leaving him with an ugly scar. With or without magic,
Yennifer is a winner.

3. FRINGILLA PROVES EVERYONE WRONG

One of the strongest characters in the series without a doubt is Fringilla.
Having had enough of people doubting her capabilities, Fringilla Vigo decides to
eliminate her enemies. “There are those who are obsessed with finding power and
there are those who know their place. You know which one you are,” Uncle
Artorias should not have said that because following this Fringilla makes sure
to let everyone know of her place. And that it is very powerful.

[data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAAAAACH5BAEKAAEALAAAAAABAAEAAAICTAEAOw==]

The equal parts horrifying and intriguing scene as Fringilla paralyzed her
generals and kills them is truly one of the best moments in The Witcher season
2. The scene where she stabs one general’s eyes without even flinching proves
how far Fringilla can go for power.

2. GERALT OF RIVIA VS THE BRUXA

One of the most exciting fight scenes of The Witcher Season 2 was Geralt’s fight
with the Bruxa. Geralt and Siri take shelter in the house of a cursed man named
Nivellin. But what they do not know is that their shelter is also the home to a
horrifying Bruxa.

[data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAAAAACH5BAEKAAEALAAAAAABAAEAAAICTAEAOw==]

The secrets do not stop there because turns out that the Bruxa and Nivellin have
fallen in love. The fight sequence that takes place in the middle of a stormy
snowy night takes home the cake for being one of the best fight scenes in season
2. Furthermore, Nivellin being the one to put an end to his lover also marks one
of the most emotionally wrenching scenes of the season.

1. THE WILD HUNT

You knew this one, didn’t you? The season finale of the mind-blowing Season 2 of
The Witcher was sensational. It marked the introduction of new characters that
are likely to play important roles in the upcoming season.

[data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAAAAACH5BAEKAAEALAAAAAABAAEAAAICTAEAOw==]

The fight between Siri, Yennefer, Geralt, and the seven figures with black armor
on horses was mind-blowing. Furthermore, this scene was building up ever since
Tris went digging into Ciri’s memory. Known as the portent of dooms, the Wraiths
of Mörhogg were and are the scariest rivals.

The fact that the horrifying Voleth Meir is just a part of the Wild Hunt shows
that Geralt’s sword has yet to slay the most terrible creatures of all.

Her love affair with Hollywood began with Anne Hathaway and The Princess Diaries, but it was the thrilling climax of Don’t Look Up that cemented her infatuation with the industry and its filmmaking. Aliza's journey into entertainment reporting began with her time at Otakukart, where she wrote over a thousand articles. Her writing style is cheeky and engaging, as seen in her report "Somewhat Alarmed," where she narrates Jimmy Kimmel's hilarious story of how Jason Bateman tricked him into gecko-sitting. Aliza's ultimate dream is to study and critique films that capture her imagination and the attention of movie-goers worldwide. When she is not busy binge-watching Sacha Baron Cohen movies and The Office, she loves to curl up with a weathered copy of a Khaled Hosseini or Indu Sundaresan book.
