The last time we saw the Hargreeves siblings, they had just ended their fight with The Handler and Lila. Realizing that Lila was another “special kid” just like the group we had been accustomed to seeing was shocking enough. But, the season finale proved to be even more shocking than usual as the kids of The Umbrella Academy returned to see that their home was overtaken was another group of “special kids” who go by the name of The Sparrow Academy.
The Sparrow Academy is what Reginald Hargreeves believes is the better version of The Umbrella Academy. They’re smarter. Faster and much better fighters. What they also are is a bunch of jerks who think they’re better than everyone else. Season 3 of the Netflix series will focus on the effects of the rift in the timeline that led to this change. The kids will either get used to their new siblings or will have to fight them. Whatever they do, they must do it within 4 days before they vanish.
