Reality TV stars have a way of staying afloat even in the slightest showbiz dramas, sometimes falling at the downside of the same. Lately, stars like Kim Kardashian have become favorite targets of comic shows, be it harmless fun or rapid roast sessions. Comedians and celebrities and even US Presidents like Barack Obama alike have taken jabs at their expense, poking fun at their antics, and larger-than-life personas. From jokes about the Kardashians’ infamous derriere to their family's over-the-top drama, no topic is off-limits. 

Offering a lighthearted way to slaughter the absurdity of reality TV culture, these roasts have become a form of entertainment in their own right. And recently, Tom Brady took the recent jab.

Former NFL athlete turned comic-maverick Tom Brady has given the Kim Kardashian billionaire a hard time. In his latest Netflix roast, The Greatest Roast of All Time, Brady took a jibe at her recently out splashed family drama involving her former husband, Ye, formerly known as Kanye West, and the changing interests of her kids.  Targeting the now-divorcee, Brady joked, “I know Kim was terrified to be here tonight.”  Not because of the roast session, but “because her kids are home with their dad” he added.   

Indeed, North West’s not-so-long-ago confessions of preferring to stay with her dad seem to have come back to haunt Kim Kardashian. The quick needling resulted in a large crowd booking at the TV reality star. However, Kardashian later let it sink with a champagne glass in her hand.

As counterproductive as it was, the reality star did not let Brady get away with that one. 

Taking to the stage, Kim Kardashian poked fun at their dating rumour, which had been in the news since always. “Speaking of Tom and I dating, I know there were some rumors that we were, and I’d never say if we did or not. I’d just release the tape,” she joked. Poking fun at Kevin Hart next, Kardashian joked about his height changing the direction of the boos. 

Although the audience was not quite receptive to a counterattack, Kim Kardashian managed to win over the audience for a while. Even if Hart himself was not spared of the Kardashians’ comebacks, Kevin encouraged the crowd to lend an ear. The roast sessions finally came to an equal footing before Brady picked up on others.
