Tobey Maguire’s $1BILLION Worth Trilogy Is Coming to Netflix This August

There are plenty of Spiderman movies made to date. After all, people love the characters and their stories, so Marvel and Sony keep bringing these films. There are parts of the Amazing Spiderman-2 as well as the Spiderman Homecoming Trilogy available on the platform. But the very first Spiderman trilogy starring Tobey Maguire isn’t there on Netflix. Even the animated one, Spiderman in the Spiderverse, was there. But, there is good news for all Tobey fans as Netflix has decided to launch Sam Raimi’s Spiderman Trilogy.

All about the original Spiderman aka Tobey Maguire

The present generation probably knows Tom Holland or Andrew Garfield as Spiderman. But for millennials, Spiderman was this guy.

Tobey was the first person who brought the comic character of Spiderman to life. The very first Spiderman movie starring him came out in the year 2002. It was followed by a second and third part in the years 2004 and 2007, respectively. These three are still the second, fourth, and fifth highest-grossing Spiderman movies. Overall, the trilogy was valued at more than $1 billion.

It was directed by Sam Raimi and the screenplay was written by David Koepp. His love interest was played by Kirsten Dunst. The other cases included Willem Dafoe, James Franco, Cliff Robertson, and Rosemary Harris.

So Netflix has finally confirmed that three of the films will be streaming on the platform from August 1, 2022. Till then, you can watch the rest of the Spiderman movie collection on Netflix.
