She also spoke about her character in the Quentin Tarantino directorial Once Upon A Time in Hollywood. The film starred renowned actors such as Brad Pitt, Leonardo DiCaprio, Austin Butler, and Margot Robbie.

This comedy-drama film not only performed exceptionally well at the box office, but went on to get nominated for several critically acclaimed awards while winning many of them. While it was like a dream come true to work in a movie with such a talented cast, she went on to get an Emmy nomination for Euphoria. But what was her role in the show all about?

What was the ‘Euphoria’ character of Sydney Sweeney about?

Euphoria is a teen drama typically about the struggles of teens with drugs and sexuality. And the 25-year-old actress played a typical teenage girl who internally struggles with the trauma of her dad leaving her. She lives with her mother and younger sister, Lexi, played by Maude Apatow.

In the first season of the show, Cassie’s character is established as a very gullible teen who falls in love with every guy she has ever dated. In fact, she also struggles with the fact that some of her sex tapes are released online because of which people have a certain perception of her.

Her character gets more intense and moves into the gray side in the second season of the show. Cassie has sex with her best friend Maddy’s ex Nate Jacobs and also ruins her sister’s play by the end of the show. As tough as the role sounds, the 25-year-old played it to utmost perfection, claiming an Emmy nomination for herself.
