Throwback to the Time When Arnold Schwarzenegger Dressed as the Terminator to Mess With His Fans
Arnold Schwarzenegger has done a lot of things in his life, be it bodybuilding, weightlifting, or business. But one thing that people will remember him for is his great acting skills, which earned him international fame. The 76-year-old actor might have paused acting, but one thing is for sure: he will never let the actor inside him die.
A few years ago, he decided to relive the fun side of his personality and get out there to let his fans know that he is still the same old T-800 that they have admired for decades. The former governor of California dressed as the Terminator in 2015 to prank his fans and make their regular day a bit special.

In June 2015, the actor dressed up as his iconic character T-800 and set out to prank people in the streets. Not just that, he also went to the famous Madam Tussauds Wax Museum, where he stood like an idol up to the point where people were confident that he was a wax idol until he surprised them.
Fans were shocked and delighted to see the Terminator walking around the streets. But the question is, was it just a fun way for Schwarzenegger to spend a day with his fans or was there any other reason for him going through all this?

One of the first and foremost reasons for the seven times Mr. Olympia winner to do this prank was to promote his upcoming film of the Terminator franchise called Terminator: Genisys. The film was about to release on June 21 and about a week before, the 76-year-old actor stepped out to promote it in his own style.
The prank video he posted on YouTube also included a link in its description where people can register and the lucky winners were to get a chance with Schwarzenegger to ride to the premiere of the film as well as accompany him to the after party.

He also did this prank to support the after-school programs through After School All-Stars. There was a $10 entry option people can choose to make and the money will go to the aforementioned program. Hence, it proves that having fun was not the only purpose of the internationally famous bodybuilder.
