And Ryan Gosling and Macaulay Culkin have made wearing t-shirts with each other’s faces on them to express their fondness for each other.

While Macaulay Culkin with his brilliant Home Alone movies is everyone’s favorite child star, fans were surprised to find out that he is Gosling’s too. Both Gosling and Macaulay have done their fair share of cinema when they were kids. But did you know that the duo came up with the idea of a ‘box in a box’?

Back in 2014, when Ryan Gosling was on a little break from acting, the actor found comfort in a little Macaulay Culkin as we all do. However, Gosling’s love for the Home Alone actor did not stop at a text praising his performance. But the actor went all out and wore a t-shirt that had a little Macaulay Culkin printed on it. But the real fun comes in when Macaulay too wears a t-shirt that has a print of Ryan Gosling sporting a t-shirt with his face on it.

But Gosling is a competitive one, and he took this as a challenge that he wanted to ace. A few days later the Oscar-winning actor again wore a t-shirt with Macaulay Culkins’ face on it.

But it wasn’t the same one that he was spotted in a couple of days ago, but a brand new Macaulay Culkin t-shirt. Here’s the twist. Gosling wore a t-shirt of Macaulay Culkin wearing a t-shirt that had a print of him sporting a little Culkin t-shirt.

Remember how we said Gosling and Macaulay Culkin invented the ‘box in a box’ concept? Now you know what we meant. What makes things even funnier is the fact that this is not just a one-time phenomenon. Gosling and Culkin have expressed their love through t-shirts that have each other’s faces on them quite a lot of times now. Despite their very public declaration of love, the Notebook actor and Macaulay Culkin have yet to do a movie together. And while there are many pictures of Ryan Gosling with a Macaulay Culkin t-shirt, there aren’t any of Gosling and Culkin hand in hand.
