About six years ago, Arnold Schwarzenegger spotted his longtime friend Caitlyn Jenner at an event. The dynamic duo did a handshake and went on Snapchat to reminisce about their time as BFFs. The 75-year-old star welcomed his old friend in the video.

“The Olympic champion, very good friend and a wonderful person we’re having a great time schmoozing,” said the Predator star. Moreover, the Keeping Up with the Kardashians star smiled and stated “(We go) way back 40 years.”

Arnold and Jenner have known each other from the time when they both were shining stars in the world of athletes. However, even today they are great friends and both have political ambition, as per reports. The Running Man star has served as the 38th governor of California between 2003 and 2011.

As for Caitlyn Jenner, she stood to replace Gavin Newsom in the California gubernatorial recall election last year. Unfortunately, she didn’t come out victorious and only received one percent of the vote. During the election time, Schwarzenegger gave advice to his friend that only a clear vision can make anyone win this battle.
